I’m based in Los Angeles AND Lake Tahoe, California - I love shooting all up and down the California coast! California is so beautiful and offers an incredible variety of landscapes to shoot in and venues to host weddings; anywhere from deserts, mountains, rolling hills & lush fields, to lakes & oceans!

That said, I LOVE to travel and am more than willing to meet you anywhere around the world! If you want help planning or picking a place, I’m also happy to help weigh in, just ask!

I make a point to shoot film almost entirely. I truly love analogue film & strongly believe it is the superior medium for my style of shooting! I love romantic, whimsical, grainy, colorful, deeply meaningful, intentional photos. Film captures this best in my opinion!

I DO offer digital add-ons to my packages if you really want both, but all of my packages will be entirely film unless you choose a digital add-on to your wedding or shoot. This will typically come with a second shooter if adding digital to a wedding.

Film is all about tangible connection! It’s ethereal & playful while also holding great weight & depth. In my opinion, the colors turn out richer, the lighting more powerful, & the moments captured feel more tangibe than photos taken digitally.

Film demands intentionality & patience, which only enhance the quality of the photos you’ll be getting back from me. There’s a timeless nostalgia to film photography that brings out a magical quality to each photo. It’s like the difference between receiving a hand written letter and an email. :)

No one likes hidden fees or extra costs tacked on at the last minute (myself included). MOST of my packages include travel fees factored into the price already! If you want me to shoot you in any of these cities, all travel fees are included - Los Angeles, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Malibu, San Fransisco, Lake Tahoe, The Sierra Nevadas, The Redwoods.

Exceptions to this policy - weekend weddings where I need to be there more than a day (or shoots lasting longer than 8 hours), I will need lodging for the night(s). The other exception is if I need to book a flight somewhere, especially internationally, I will require a round trip flight, a place to stay, and rental car costs covered! :)

YES!! In keeping with my love for vintage photography, I offer old-school 90’s Camcorder Tape video that I later transpose to a digital copy for you! If you love those old gritty home videos mom & dad took of you in the 80’s & 90’s, then you’ll LOVE my camcorder video add-on option!

I believe there is so much value in adding video footage to your wedding day or shoot! It’s like recording a visual journal highlighting the key moments of the shoot. Choosing to add camcorder footage may also include a second shooter depending on the nature and size of your shoot (i.e. wedding days).

I believe film is its own style & I pride myself in being an all-film photographer (unless you choose to add-on digital to your package)! Aside from that, my favorite style of shooting is documentary style, editorial, and fine art photography. I want you to have photos that feel like you, but you would hang on your wall like an art piece!

I combine all of these styles in a storytelling fashion that echos a fly-on-the-wall, cinematic perspective you would see in movies or art galleries. I LOVE all things candid & non-traditional. I am always down to scheme with you to capture your wedding or session from a unique point of view while still capturing the more “posed” traditional shots for mom & grandma. :)

Yes! I require a 50% non-refundable deposit up-front to reserve your date & project with me. After that, we can break down the rest of your payments into 1-3 additional payments, all of which must be recieved a month before your shoot date!

Since I shoot film, I do not send you the original strips the photos were shot on. If you would like copies of the digitized film before I edit it, I can include the original images for an additional fee. I do not send digital RAW files if you included a digital photography add-on to your shoot.

My turnaround time for weddings is typically 4-6 weeks, while smaller shoots are done within 3 weeks typically. Sneak Peeks are shared on my Instagram stories as I edit my way through your gallery! :)

This is entirely up to your preferences! Second shooters are add-on’s to each shoot that I only recommend for large weddings where you may want additional coverage of your big day, OR if you are adding on digital / camcorder video to your wedding day. Smaller, more intimate shoots & weddings I typically handle on my own!

I love capturing you as you are naturally! Film is quite forgiving when it comes to scars or blemishes & they’re rarely noticable. I don’t photoshop things out of my photos because I value authenticity & the beauty of who YOU are! If there is something you are insecure about, I am more than happy to adjust the type of photos we capture during your session!

If you need to cancel or re-schedule, there will be a rescheduling fee applied to the new date agreed upon. I require a 50% non-refundable deposit up front when you book with me to reserve your date. That sum remains non-refundable, even in the case of complete cancellation.

Absolutely! If you need help with scheduling, where to go/location scouting, outfit & styling advice or other creative tips & tricks, I’d love to help you plan! I’d be more than happy to recommend other vendors such as florists, venues, caterers, etc. if you’re looking to book them still.

I personally love helping clients create a storyboard, from planning the mood & location to executing the outfits & poses! Fill out a contact form with your concept & we can schedule a call and brainstorm together!

I am all about connection. There’s no such thing as awkward photos with me, I will give you prompts & suggestions to help you feel fully yourself + comfortable in front of the camera!

1) Plan your wedding day YOUR WAY!! Say no to anything that doesn’t resonate with you & incorporate the things that are most meaningful to YOU, no matter how quirky.

2) Incorporate more time into your wedding day timeline so you can relax & fully enjoy your day & your guests.

3) Plan your shoot around details, activities, and places personally significant to you! Be true to what you love!

I believe unexpected weather often leads to some of the most magical shoots! Rain, clouds & wind can all create the perfect backdrop for photos that feel magical & are full of laughter at the unpredictability.

As long as it remains safe & my gear won’t be seriously affected, I’m a fan of keeping the shoot & seeing what fun photos we can get from it. If it is truly unsafe, we can discuss rescheduling.

When you book me to shoot at any of the following locations, you will get extra photos & shoot time as well as a package discount!
